Looking into the steps to check the company’s status
1. Firstly, land on the MCA Home page. Further, then click on MCA Services followed by a click on Master Data on the left-hand. Company/LLP Master Data will appear.
2. Type the full or partial Company Name in – Company / LLP Name (Enter at least 3 characters for [Company/LLP Name). and click the Search button. This will allow the search to be conducted by the MCA database. If the name is legit it can be found on the website. Click on the desired Company Name link but if it is not then “ NO RESULTS ’’ will be displayed. Click on the desired Company Name link.
Under Master Data Check, you will get the following details of the selected Company.
1. Company Name: XYZ Ltd.2. RoC Code: RoC-Location3. Registration Number: (Last 6 digits of CIN)4. Category & Subcategory of Company5. Class of Company: Private limited company registration / Public6. Authorized Capital (Rs): Registered Capital of Company7. Paid-up Capital (Rs): Paid Up Capital of Company8. Number of Members: Applicable in case of a company without Share Capital9. Date of Incorporation: Date of Registration of Company10. Registered Address: Address of the Registered office of the Company11. Email Id: Contact Email Id12. Whether Listed or not: Listed or Unlisted13. Date of last AGM: Date of Last AGM for which returns were filed with ROC14. Date of the Balance Sheet: Date of Last Balance Sheet for which returns were filed with ROC15. Company Status (for filing): Present Status of the Company16. CIN: The CIN is a 21-digit number containing details such as the status (listed / unlisted), the NIC business operation code, the year of registration, the year of registration, the private or public registration number, and the sequential registration number in the respective state.
